Remove Menu Items from Explorer

Explorer's menus can get messy at times. But you can use a Registry hack to clean it up a bit 

by removing some items from the Tools menu. Map Network Drive, Disconnect Network 

Drive etc can be stopped from displaying. 

Run the Registry Editor and go to: 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer 

Create the following DWORD entry and set the values correspondingly. 

If the values are 

already there, then just check the values: 

NoNetConnectDisconnect.           1
NoNetHood                                 1
NoOnlinePrintsWizard                  1
NoPublishingWizard                     1
NoWebServices                           1
NoWelcomeScreen                      1
NoInternetOpenWith                    1
NoWindowsUpdate                     1

Restart your computer and see the explorer window with changes. Happy??


NOTE :- Take the backup of your registry (by one of these Software's) before doing any tweak.
